Keyboards: Special Key Combinations
For each combination, you’ll need to hold the keys down until the LED on the Easy-Switch mode key 1 is lit (press and hold the key combination for three seconds).
- FN+O — swaps PC layout to Mac layout
- FN+P — swaps Mac layout to PC layout.
- FN+U — swaps special character like ‘#’ and ’A’ with the ‘>’ and ’<’ keys NOTE: This only affects European 102 and US International layouts. FN+U only works on Mac layouts, so make sure you have switched to Mac layout by pressing FN+O.
- FN+B — Pause Break
- FN+ESC — swaps between the smart keys and F1-12 keys. NOTE: This syncs with the same checkbox feature in the Options software, which can be downloaded by clicking here
Logitech K780 multi-device keyboard
I found yesterday that my Logitech K780 CMD and Start keys had switched function which I found particularly annoying when using cut/paste functions.
I eventually found that there is a key combination which either sets this keyboard up for Mac or Windows.
The way to switch the keys back to the Mac configuration is to hold down fn + O for 3 seconds.
(Switching to the Windows config requires fn + P for 3 secs)
